Clubs
School Council
At Linton-on-Ouse Primary School and Nursery, the School Council is a group of pupils supported by a member of staff. School Councillors apply for the posts are elected by our classmates. We take our various roles very seriously.
We meet regularly and help to run the school by suggesting and helping to implement improvements; arranging community events; fundraising for the school and for charity; and by helping to organise learning opportunities such as World Book Day.
Military Kids’ Club (MKC)
Welcome
MKC Heroes (Formally HMS Heroes)is a national support group for the children of Service men and women and their relatives. A tri-Service network school club, MKC Heroes brings together members of Service families We meet once a half-term and often see our Service Pupil Champion, Jess, attend. Please be aware that due to current restrictions, MKC is currently being run as a Google Classroom.
MCK takes place at lunchtime and children are welcome to bring along a friend, offering the children time to get to meet other forces children in an informal environment. We play games, do arts and crafts and have circle time where they can talk in a small group about any worries they may have about life as a military child.
The club is run by Mrs Lister, our Service Pupil Lead.
