Our School Governors
The Governing Body of the School has one Local Education Authority governor, four Co-opted governors, two elected Parents, one member of Staff and the Headteacher. They meet four times a year and are responsible for the efficient running and upkeep of the school, through the Headteacher.
The current Chairperson is Mr Nigel Cross. Mr Cross can be contacted via the school telephone number or via the admin@linton.n-yorks.sch.uk email address.
The Governing Body has four core functions:
Ensuring clarity of vision, ethos and strategic direction.
Holding the Headteacher to account for the educational performance of the school and its pupils, and the performance management of staff.
Overseeing the financial performance of the school and making sure its money is well spent.
Ensuring the voices of stakeholders are heard.
