We currently have places available throughout our school
At Linton-on-Ouse Primary School and Nursery we aim to provide the most cost effective uniform for our families. We have made a commitment to:
Keep the number of branded items to a minimum (Jumpers, Cardigans, Polo Tops)
Ensure all other required uniform items are as widely available as possible
(plain t-shirts, grey trousers, skirts and dresses)
Provide good condition second hand uniform to help cater for all family budgets.
Engage with parents and pupils when reviewing our uniform.
Engage with uniform suppliers to secure good value for money.
Navy Jumper or Cardigan
White Polo, Shirt or Blouse
Black Shoes (not trainers)
Grey or Black Trousers or Shorts
Blue Summer Dress
Grey or Black Pinafore or Skirt
Please ensure that all your child’s clothes are named. We cannot stress enough how much time, and upset, can be saved if all personal items are clearly marked.
Children should come into school wearing their kit on P.E. days – they will then keep this on all day.
White T-shirt
Black Joggers, Leggings or Shorts
Black or Navy Jumper or Hoodie
Suitable Trainers
No items with logos such as: shirts, shorts or football strips should be worn for PE.
Families can buy items without logos from a range of regular retailers and supermarkets. If you do wish to purchase items with the school logo, our current school uniform supplier is Paw Print.
Uniform items such as sweatshirts, cardigans, polo shirts and hoodies embroidered with the school logo, can be ordered online at: https://www.pawprintltd.com/product-category/linton-on-ouse-primary-school/
We have a stock of good quality, free, secondhand uniform. Please let Mrs Simms in the office know if you would like school to provide you with any items.
Our Nursery does not have a uniform, but please follow these recommendations:
Trousers could be jogging bottoms or have elasticated waists which are easy to put on.
Sensible shoes or trainers (NOT flip flops).
Washable clothes.
A school sweatshirt or cardigan can be worn if wished.
No jewellery must be worn in school other than small studs in pierced ears. This rule is enforced because bracelets, necklaces and dangling earrings can be a danger at playtime and during PE lessons. Watches may be worn, but they are brought into school at the child’s own risk.
