We currently have places available throughout our school
At Linton-on-Ouse Primary School and Nursery lunch time is more than just eating, we believe in spending time together as a community. The whole school enjoys lunch together from Nursery to Year 6, with packed lunches and school meals eating together. Our school cook is passionate about her role at Linton and always makes lunchtimes a joyful experience. The children have enjoyed special occasions such as; A Chinese New Year Lunch and Valentines Day Puddings! The Children are always invloved in the creation of new school menus. To encourage children to try and experience new foods we offer free 'tasters' to all of the children.
Please see our current menus at the bottom of this page.
Meet Our Cook:
Miss Kerina Ridyard
I began my journey working with children as a Level 3 Nursery Nurse. From here I developed my skills to achieve the role of Room Leader and later on Deputy Manager, followed by Nursery Manager. During my career in Nursery I had the opportunity to take on kitchen roles which I enjoyed and became very passionate about. This led to me becoming a Kitchen Manager. I enjoyed developing menus, discussing all the foods that the children enjoyed trying and seeing their smiles as they happily ate the food that I had prepared for them. Now I get to do this everyday at Linton!
